The built-in Restore process of NaturalTherapist/Pro allows you to recover your database from an earlier backup.

Note that your web server may have restricted the size of files that you can upload to your website. If the PHP settings for "upload_max_filesize" or "post_max_size" are less than the size of your backup file then you will not be able to use the backup file for restoring the database until those settings are changed.

CAUTION performing a restore will replace all the data in your database. If you select an incorrect backup for the restore, data may be lost

To perform a restore

• Select “Restore” from the drop down list
• Change the backup directory if required
• click on a backup file in the table of backups
• Click the “Restore” button

Reasons for performing a restore

There are several reasons why you may want to restore your database

• Disk failure
• Moving to a new PC
• Keeping a copy of your practice data on a PC at home
