Prescriptions
The prescription system allows your practitioners to write and dispense prescriptions for patients. A prescription
consists of a series of items. Each item consists of zero or more ingredients.
A prescription item with zero ingredients may represent, for example, a dietary or exercise recommendation. These items are not intended to be dispensed.

Prescription items may also be for remedies that are not able to be dispensed by your practice, such as those items that are normally purchased from a pharmacy.
